An Item, generally electronic or electrical (but not exclusively so), removed from its original product or assembly and available for reuse.
Many counterfeit items enter the supply chain through this method.
The integrity of such items cannot be guaranteed and they should be avoided unless their recycling is under known and controlled conditions.
