1. 1-day, remote course: Introduction to Obsolescence Management – the basics.
This course will introduce you to the basics of obsolescence; Terminology, Standards, Component Life-Cycle, Supplier Product Change Notices, etc…

2. 3-day, remote course: Obsolescence Management – in depth knowledge.
Includes information from Basics course.
Investigate the mitigations that can be planned to resolve obsolescence issues.

(This course can be used as a preliminary to a formal IIOM accreditation course which can lead to acceptance as an Associate to that organisation).
Membership of IIOM is recommended.

3. 1-day, remote course: Counterfeit Avoidance and Detection – the basics.
The prevalence of counterfeit components, how they enter the supply chain, and what can be done to minimise the possibility of their being introduced into your products.

4. Company courses available as above but on requested schedule.
For 5 or more participants on a schedule of your choosing.

2. Component database Scrubbing:
Ensure your basic component data; Manufacturer, Manufacturers Part Number is correct and up to date.
Acquisitions and Mergers can change manufacturer name and part number, and it is important to have the correct information to present to your suppliers.

3. Component monitoring for Year to End-of-Life and Legislative Compliance.
Individual monitoring for critical components within your design(s).
Component information updated and reported 4 times per year.

4. Bill of Material monitoring for Year to End-of Life and Legislative Compliance.
Monitoring of all components in a Bill of Material with updates 4 times per year.

5. Full Component database monitoring for Year to -End-of Life and Legislative Compliance.
Ensure your entire component database is up to date for components projected end-of-life and legislative compliance, with updates 4 times per year.

6. Auditing of Sub-Contractors and Suppliers for Obsolescence Management Planning
Do you ensure your sub-contractors and suppliers conduct their own Obsolescence Management Plan to protect their, and therefore your own products?
We will conduct annual audits to ensure that they meet the standards you require of them.
