About CNXTIG Founder
My name is John Wombwell, and I am from the famous and historical University City of Cambridge, in England.
Although all my families were farmers, in 1976 I decided that I wanted to work in the Electronic Industry, and the following year I started my career.
I started in the Military working on RADAR and Missiles, and after 10 years’ service I worked in Saudi Arabia before moving to Canada, where I worked in Canada and USA on Civilian RADAR and satellite systems.
From there I worked on military Secure Communications for the Sultanate of Oman, before returning to Canada and working on the design and production of Medical systems.
After a year working as a consultant for an Australian Hi-Tech Company, I returned to the UK to work on Railway Systems.
My more recent work has been as the Senior Technical Support Engineer for an international Hi-Vacuum system manufacturer which provides vacuum equipment for semiconductor silicon chip manufacturers.
During a career of more than 45 years, I have learned far more than I was originally taught, and I would like to bring you the benefit of that knowledge.
After 20 years’ experience in Component engineering, and concentrating on Obsolescence Management I have been accepted by the IIOM, (International Institute of Obsolescence Management) as an Associate, and can bring you the training that you will need to perform your own management of this important subject, or offer you such services as you may require to ensure your products do not succumb to its effects.
The knowledge you will gain from visiting our site will make you a more valuable engineer for businesses, and help you bring knowledge they currently do not have for their benefit.
